Herbert Baumeister (a.k.a. "The I-70 Strangler") was an alleged serial killer from Westfield, Indiana. Authorities believe that from 1980 - 1996, Herb murdered anywhere between 11-20 (possibly more) men in Indiana and Ohio. During the summer of 1999, investigators discovered the skeletal remains of over 5,500 bones and bone fragments on his Fox Hollow Farm estate. He soon fled to Canada where he committed suicide in his car.
